MY GLOGSTER PROJECT

   I have prepared an online poster for you by using the glogster. I learned what is a glogster this week. It allows us to create digital posters. Firstly, we watched the video about the the novel 1984 by George Orwell and read its summary in sparknotes.  I have prepared a propoganda poster of the Party to manipulate people in Ocenia. I have enjoyed during my project. Also, I want to read the novel 1984 completely.

My Interview Project

 Hi everybody. In my project, I listened to an interview broadcasted on 15 Feb 2008 and I want to write about the interview. If you want to listen click here. 

 I listen in BBC Radio 4 / The Film Programme.In the interview I listened the podcast and  I am going to talk about the interview that Jack Nicholson reflects on his career, his influence, Hollywood and mortality.

Jack Nicholson Nicholson has been nominated for an Academy Award twelve times and has won the Academy Award for Best Actor twice: for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and for As Good as It Gets. He also won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for the 1983 film Terms of Endearment. He is tied with Walter Brennan for most acting wins by a male actor (three). Nicholson is well known for playing villainous roles such as Jack Torrance in The Shining, Frank Costello in The Departed, and the Joker in 1989's Batman,among many other roles. 

 Interviewer Francine Stock is talking with Morgan Freeman about on the eve of his receiving the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award from the Golden Globes. He begins with a brief explanation of his new movie and then first question comes. She asked him to  about  film making style of Jack Nicholson. Mr Morgan said that Nicholson was a visual media man. he thought that Nicholson keeps the reputation 'best movie maker'. The other question is ''what about the subject of mortality which is Nicholson's straking film topic''. Morgan said that the audience always wants to win, then this topic gratify them very much. 

The interviewer ask to Mr Morgan about Jack Nicholson had what kind of background in his success. Morgan thinks that the vital thing in for achievement in the film  is commercial success. the other guestion is 'what he thinks of Hollywood now'. Hollywood keeps most fashional changing about its actor and topic and Nicholson grasp

this achievement.If I were the interviewer, I would ask to Jack Nicholson these two questions:

If you was not an actor, what would you do?

Which role have you tended more among your different roles as an actor?

My webquest project

                                                PENQUIN AND SEA LION

One day, Penny the penguin was swimming around her home in the Antarctic Ocean. All of a sudden she heard a loud sound. " HELP ME! I'm tangled!."

Penny the penguin looked to her right and saw a HUGE sea lion tangled up in seaweed. "Hey! Little penguin, won't you please help free me? My family is on vacation and they can't help me! By the way, my name is Sammy the sea lion."

"Well, hello there Sammy. I would love to help you, but I'm pretty sure you tried to eat me the other day."

Sammy the sea lion realized that Penny was right. Sammy did try to eat Penny, but Penny was fast and got away. "Well", Sammy the sea lion explained, "I will flipper promise you that I will NEVER try to eat you again if you help me! I will tell my family not to eat you too!."

"That sounds like a good bet", said Penny the penguin. "You will have to flipper promise not to eat my family members too!" Sammy immediately replied, "It's a deal!."

Sammy the sea lion and Penny the penguin flipper promised and Sammy never ate Penny or any of her family members. They were best friends forever because they respected each other.

The moral of my fable is:  Be friendly and respectful to others because you may need their help one day.

Digital Storytelling

It is my favourite project. I enjoy very much while doing with my partner.

Our project is for young learner. We create a story with three characters for them. Our project's name is 'a surprised party'. I think it is remarkable for children. I want to thank to my partners, Aysun and Perihan.

A Tale of Two Cities

Do you know this novel?

It is one of Charles Dickens's best novels and a historical novel. It refers France and French Revolution.

It is quite difficult to write about the novels written by Charles Dickens, as you have to be one among the thousands of people who have done the job earlier. But I am so fascinated by the charm and attraction I felt while reading ‘A Tale Of Two Cities’ that I could not do without putting my efforts to show how I felt while reading this master piece.
